In the summertime of 2021, Software program for Good grew to become one among 4 organizations awarded a aggressive grant by the state of Minnesota’s Division of Employment and Financial Alternative. We are actually a part of the Tech Coaching Pilot Program, with the objective of offering tech profession pathways for younger adults who’re Black, Indigenous, and folks of coloration.

We work with paid mentors to offer our apprentices further help — ensuring they will at all times attain out to ask questions, get suggestions on their work, put together for job looking, and extra. We are actually searching for paid mentors to work with our apprentices within the spring (March–Could) and summer time (June–August) of 2022.

Mentors are paid at a fee of $50/hour.

What abilities do mentors want?

We will probably be working with apprentices in software program improvement and UX/human-centered design. We’d like to work with mentors who’ve expertise in any of the next:
